FAQ file - How the Progetti Style system works...

How can you provide design for my home at such a low cost to me? |
|
We own the design and its copyright, you will
pay us a Royalty Fee to use the design once only on your site. The
design is non-exclusive to you. The design does not include Building
Consent documentation (see below).

What do I get with the Progetti Style design pack? |
| Dimensioned floor plans, 4 elevations of your selected design to approximate scale | |

How do I work out if the design will fit my site? |
|
Check your local authority (council) town planning
rules (coverage, yards etc) against the overall dimensions and areas
shown for your preferred design - if in doubt check with a town
planning or architectural consultant before final selection of your
plan. If your site is subject to design covenants these should be
checked also.

What if the design I like doesn't fit? |
|
You have 2 options -
|
|
| If it is a 'near fit' you can engage an architectural drafting service to make minor modifications to the Progetti Style design once the Royalty fee is paid. | |
|
Alternatively, if your site requires specific
design, you can ask Progetti Style to engage an architectural designer
to work with us to meet your requirements - normal architectural
consultancy fees are paid directly to the provider in addition to
the Progetti Style Royalty Fee for this service.

Can I change the design or materials? |
|
Yes, your project your choice! However, we recommend
that all changes are discussed with a suitably qualified professional,
and that you satisfy yourself that the substitution meets all relevant
building and performance standards.

I like the floor plan but want a different look? |
| Ask us for other options, stating the style you prefer. Most designs will allow application of different styles and looks. We will contact you directly with ideas. | |

Can I build in concrete? |
|
Yes, Our designs have been developed for construction
in masonry, and make efficient use of block modules and wall thicknesses.
Other systems or combinations may be considered or suggested such
as brick veneer or aluminium wall cladding subject to careful consideration
of the products qualities and specifications meeting Building Code
requirements.

How do I get Building Consent Documents? |
|
You will need to engage suitably qualified drafting
& engineering services to prepare your Building Consent documentation
to meet the NZ Building Code and local authority (council) standards,
and requirements. Other services may be required depending on your
site.

Do I have to use any specific consultants or products? |
| NO! That is the beauty of this concept. We supply the great design ideas and you decide who to engage to turn the design into your new home. That way you can qualify and choose quality people, services and materials to make your home uniquely yours. You remain in control of your project all the way. | |

Can you put me in touch with professionals and services to get my project underway? |
|
Yes, we are building a database of people who
can help. However, it will be your sole responsibility to assure
yourself that the service and provider is right for you. All contracts
will be direct with the provider and Progetti Style Ltd will not
be liable for disputes between clients and other parties.

Who is the Progetti Style Architectural Designer? |
|
We are proud to present designs from Mark Rantin
of MRA Limited in our current range. Mark has 20 years residential
experience and a passion for providing quality design options for
all homes.
|
|
|

Can you tell me when you are releasing new designs? |
|
Yes, email us with your contact details, we will
send you a message when new designs are added to the range. We will
be building the range to 30 designs over the coming months.
