Progetti Style - residential architecture

About us

progetti is italian for ‘plans’

In Italy styling houses take quality products and apply the ‘look’ or ‘design aesthetic’ e.g. Pinninfarina, Prada, Ital design. These styling houses add the ‘WOW’ factor to the function of quality products.

Our architectural design core business is MRA Limited, an architectural practice specialising in the design of concrete homes by individual commission.

MRA’s directors Mark Rantin & Wendy Metcalfe decided in 2001 that quality architecture should be more easily accessible to more people, in terms of time and design cost.

In 2001 MRA designed a Showhome which was marketed by Firth as an Open Home in Glendowie. This very special design generated a range of plans ‘the International Series’ which became the catalyst for Progetti Style.

Over the past decade we have produced a number of designs for W Stevenson & Sons (Masonry), Jalcon Homes, Wilco Precast, Litecrete & private developers resulting in a series of architectural designs for homes in the 180m²
to 300m² range

In November 2009 we decided to offer these plans directly to the public in floor plan & elevation packages ready to take to drafting companies for site specific building consent documentation.

We have released the Progetti Style range in conjunction with Suppliers of quality products that can be used in construction of these designs. And we provide you with information and links to each Supplier so you can make informed decisions.

At $1500 per plan use this makes using a Progetti Style design as your new home inspiration affordable and accessible. No expensive architect’s fees, no lengthy design process, and an introduction to an excellent range of quality products, services and information that you can use in your New Home project. Making it easy!

We are proud to sponsor and participate in the Alfa Romeo Trofeo Series, a race series for Classic & Thoroughbred cars which takes us to Classic styled race meetings around the 4 North Island race circuits each Season.
